Terms of Service
Last updated 21 October 2026
Using the service
FreeCodeQRGenerator is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use the codes you generate however you like, including in paid work and printed products. We claim no rights over them.
What you agree not to do
- Encode content that is unlawful, or that is designed to deceive the person scanning it — for example a code that impersonates a payment request, a parking meter or an official notice.
- Use the service to distribute malware or phishing links.
- Attempt to disrupt the site, or automate access to it in a way that degrades it for others.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. QR codes are generated in your browser and we cannot test them against every scanner, camera app and printing process in existence. Always scan a code yourself before printing it at volume or committing it to anything expensive. This is particularly true when you have added a logo or chosen a decorative module style.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service or from a code that does not scan as you expected. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Accounts
The generator does not require an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend an account that is used in breach of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
